Menfolk Journeys
This podcast explores how different men from all walks of life wear the beautiful and confusing mantle of manhood.
Men can be knuckleheads in public life. But in private, if given the right questions and if they feel comfortable, men can also be thoughtful, reflective, and have deep conversations about their lives, big questions, and meaningful ideas.
We have great conversations with men just like us and from all walks of life, so we can learn from their personal stories and all get better together.

51. Anthony on Supreme Nature and Recovery

As a young man, Anthony embraced his natural surroundings in Appalachia, paying attention to the workings of the world. With family around him, and a model of manhood in his grandfather, he grew up in a place where he knew he belonged.
A career in the USAF, flying combat missions, put him in situations where he had to depend on his team and others, and they on him, for survival.
How does that affect us? What kinds of release do we need when those pressures mount over time?
Anthony found solace in his own recovery, and is now again embracing his natural environments and family...and helping others with their recovery, too.
