  Menfolk Journeys
This podcast explores how different men from all walks of life wear the beautiful and confusing mantle of manhood.
Men can be knuckleheads in public life. But in private, if given the right questions and if they feel comfortable, men can also be thoughtful, reflective, and have deep conversations about their lives, big questions, and meaningful ideas.
We have great conversations with men just like us and from all walks of life, so we can learn from their personal stories and all get better together.

37. Ken and the Power of Mind Over Body
What makes a strong man?
His body? His mind? His convictions? His resilience? His fortitude?
Ken was born into a cradle of love and community, and lived a vigorous, athletic youth. Then, in a moment of college football, he suffered a damaging injury, irrevocably paralyzing him from the shoulders down.
Undaunted, he continued on...earning his degree, multiple Master's degrees, a JD, and went on to fight for, pursue, and enjoy a storied career as a counselor and assistant district attorney and trial lawyer.
Oh, and there's also the feat of raising triplet boys.
This man is a Mountain, and shows us how to point our minds and spirits into something positive and fulfilling, despite obstacles and challenges that life throws our way.
He is a model of Manhood.
